Professional Ethics & the Role of the Teacher invites teachers to explore what it means to become a trusted, reflective, and ethically grounded educator. Through real classroom dilemmas, guided reflection, discussion, creative assignments, and practical design tasks, participants will examine professional boundaries, student safety, equity, classroom culture, and the ethical responsibilities of teaching. This course is grounded first in Finnish educational values: trust, autonomy, equity, student dignity, and teacher professionalism. It is also aligned with CBE values and competencies, helping teachers connect ethical practice to real classroom life.
